KST X06N V6 Lugless Servo – 1.8Kg.cm 0.07s 6.3g 7mm

The KST X06N V6 is a version of the KST X06 servo without mounting lugs (also called mounting tabs). KST delivers once again with the world beating KST X06N, their new lugless 7 mm thin servo weighing only 6.3g. Perfect for discus launched gliders (DLGs) and many smaller models. The incredibly slim casing is crafted from 7075 aluminium alloy, so not only do these servos look fantastic but they are also very rigid and robust. The new V6 version has the same great specifications as the old servo, but is also programmable using a PC based or a press-button programming tool.

The KST X06N has a hardened steel drive train and a coreless motor capable of running all the way from 3.8V to 8.4V (1S to 2S LiPo) making these WV (wide voltage range) servos will deliver the power and reliability you need. Although some say this tiny servo is too small for 1.5m DLG aileron surfaces it actually has more torque on 2S LiPo than a KST X08 has on a 1S battery.

The accessories include four strong nylon output arms, two double sided, and two single sided, one of which is low profile. This means that when the servos are mounted one in front of the other the control rod of the front one won’t foul the rear one.

Note although the X08 arms will fit they are slightly deeper. When fully screwed into place the arm will jam on the top of the servo case. Either trim away a little of the nylon arm sleeve, or avoid fully tightening the retaining screw.
